Anca’s practice comprises of a range of areas, including employment law, occupational regulation and disciplinary matters, discrimination, personal injury, planning and environment law, inquests, and criminal law. Prior to being called to the Bar in September 2019, Anca enjoyed a successful career as a solicitor advocate and appeared in most courts and tribunals in the ACT, NSW and at federal level.
Anca was awarded a Bachelor of Laws from the Romanian – American University in Bucharest (Romania), a Diploma in Law from the Legal Practitioners Admission Board (University of Sydney) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
Anca was admitted as a legal practitioner in the ACT Supreme Court in June 2014 and to the High Court of Australia in January 2015. Anca is a dedicated mentor to law students in their final years at the Australian National University through Women in Law Organisation. Anca is passionate about passing forward her experience and knowledge and helping others achieving their professional and personal goals.
