Anca is a barrister with a broad practice spanning employment law, human rights, public law (Commonwealth and Australian Capital Territory), common law/personal injury, and commercial litigation.
Recognised for her pragmatic advice, meticulous preparation, and persuasive advocacy, Anca has a busy practice appearing in matters across all Australian jurisdictions. She is regularly briefed in complex disputes and is regarded as a highly sought-after junior counsel, valued for her sound judgment and commitment to achieving practical outcomes for her clients.
Originally from Romania, Anca lived on two other continents before making Canberra her home in 2009. She has travelled to more than 40 countries, an experience that has shaped her appreciation of diverse cultures and perspectives which has been a great asset in her practice at the Bar. Beyond her practice, Anca serves on the Bar Council and enjoys mentoring law students as they begin their legal careers.
