Blackburn News: ACT Bar Association Media Release

As some may know, our members here at Blackburn don’t merely sit in an ivory tower and focus on their own matters. Our barristers have a passionate interest in law reform with many serving as members of the ACT Bar Council.

Recently, the ACT Government has proposed some significant changes to the Crimes Act and the Firearms Act. These changes have the potential to have a very large impact on the Canberra community and the law in general.

The ACT Bar Association has today provided a media release that sets out its position and we encourage all with an interest in law reform to read it here.
