Amanda has returned to private practice following her appointment as Judge of the Federal Circuit Court having been immersed in the changing world of digital legal practice where Microsoft Teams became the norm and legal practice became paperless. She brings with her vast legal knowledge being admitted to practice as a Barrister in 1991 and practising continuously at the private Bar until accepting a judicial appointment in 2017.
Amanda has rejoined Blackburn Chambers in Canberra. In addition, she has joined Win Paten Chambers on Level 14 107 North Quay Brisbane and holds a current Practising Certificate. Amanda is a Nationally Accredited Mediator (UWA) and Nationally Accredited Arbitrator (AIFLAM)
